When and How to Create Your Own Dataset: Even if you're lucky enough to work somewhere with a strong open records law, sometimes the best data stories star with no database at all. In this class, we'll discuss when it's appropriate to build your own database out of documents or other records, and everything you'll need to consider to do the job correctly.
