Investigating personal details is part of many stories, and we have seen presentations on what is feasible in many ways - starting with usernames, pics, phone numbers, mail addresses, names etc. But what else is feasible? When designing research challenges, Oliver and Marcus gave students some personal data to dig into. So the snapshot of a pet can lead to a home address; the combination of small details can even lead further. So we started to search for more and found personal data where we had not expected it. Old e-mail addresses we almost had forgotten etc. From there we turned the experiment into a lesson: What strategies can we develop from here?
