Inge Oosterhoff
NYU MFA Literary Reportage Freelance journalist
Brooklyn
I'm a freelance journalist from the Netherlands and a Literary Reportage student at NYU (2021-2023). I have worked in long form, audio, film and multimedia – on stories about small-town idealists in the Netherlands trying to solve the Northern-Irish Troubles and pink-robed nuns praying for the outside world from behind gates, to a remapping of the history of Dutch slavery in New York City. I used to be on the board of the Dutch Narrative Journalism Foundation and organize the annual True Stories Conference in Amsterdam, and currently organize the Narrative Working Group at the Institute of Public Knowledge.
