JavaScript basic in Observable

How JavaScript and its multiple libraries such as D3, Turf or lodash help us to do visual, explanatory and investigative journalism every day. With real-life examples, Adrián Blanco, Martín González and Yaryna Serkez will describe how they learned and integrated JavaScript in their day to day workflows and how anyone can learn it. Let's be clear, JavaScript is hard – so the session is going to be a very practical one where you will see and learn how to get started no matter what you want to do: data wrangling, data analysis or data visualization. We'll use Observable notebooks, so participants can follow and learn the basics to gather data, ask questions to their data and visiualize it.
