10 local newsrooms across northern and mid-Norway shared large datasets, analyzed 500.000 state payments to farmers, and exposed which farmers and areas got the most state subsidies. They also used it to expose covid19-funding, the wages to public workers, and other stories.This was done with new tools in Excel 2016, that allowed the newsrooms to do data journalism without coding. Reporter Rune Ytreberg shows how they worked and how you can do the same, no matter which platform you use.
